Assisted Stretch Sessions with Dr. Chris

Tight hips, a stiff back, and shoulders that won't loosen up are hard to fix on your own. Most of us don't stretch long enough, can't get into the right positions, or tense up the muscle we're trying to stretch.
Dr. Chris Stull, DC, is StretchCenter Certified and offers one-on-one assisted stretch sessions. You relax on the table while he moves you through each stretch, guided by a chiropractor's understanding of your joints, muscles, and how you move.
Sessions take place at our office at 12995 Sheridan Blvd #101, Broomfield, CO 80020. Call or text 303-466-3988, or use the "Make an Appointment" button to book.
What Is Assisted Stretching?
Assisted stretching is one-on-one stretching where a trained practitioner positions and moves your body for you. Because you aren't holding yourself up or bracing, your muscles can relax, so you can stretch further and more safely than you usually would alone.
Sessions can include gentle, sustained stretches and contract-relax techniques, where you briefly push against light resistance before easing deeper into the stretch.
Why stretch with a chiropractor? Dr. Chris starts by checking how you move, so each session targets the areas that are actually restricted. He also knows when a stretch isn't right for a joint or an injury, and stretching can be paired with your chiropractic care for longer-lasting results.
What is Hypervolt? Hypervolt is a handheld percussion massage device made by Hyperice. It delivers rapid, gentle pulses deep into the muscle to help release tension and ease soreness. Using it before or after stretching helps tight muscles relax, so each stretch can go a little further. Our Stretch + Hypervolt session pairs a 30-minute assisted stretch with 20 minutes of Hypervolt work.

Stretching FAQ
Does assisted stretching hurt?
No. You should feel a strong but comfortable stretch, never sharp pain. You stay in control the whole time, and Dr. Chris adjusts each stretch based on your feedback.
How is this different from stretching on my own or doing yoga?
When you stretch alone, your muscles have to work to hold the position. With assisted stretching you relax completely, so Dr. Chris can safely guide you into positions that are hard to reach by yourself.
How often should I come in?
Many people start with weekly sessions for a few weeks, then come in every 2 to 4 weeks to maintain their progress. Dr. Chris will recommend a plan based on your goals.
Do I need to be flexible or in pain to come in?
No. Assisted stretching works at any flexibility level, and you don't need an injury or pain to benefit.
Can I combine stretching with a chiropractic adjustment?
Yes. Many patients pair the two, and Dr. Chris can recommend how to fit stretching into your treatment session.
Is assisted stretching covered by insurance?
Stretch sessions are self-pay and are not billed to insurance.
